Fuck me, my girl was funny!

Gods, but how much I had missed her!

The moment I had seen that door, all I had been waiting for was for her to open it. I just needed her to know that I was there waiting for her. Of course, then I had felt her panic, I had felt her terror when I had called out to her, but then the door opened, and she ran straight into my arms and I was so fucking proud of her. Then I had seen the Wraith Master in his true form running after her and I swear I had never been so torn, for I wanted nothing more than to set her aside as I let my demon erupt, showing him the true meaning of fear! I wanted to walk in there and rip him to pieces myself, to tear his fucking heart out for making my girl scared!

However, two things stopped me, the first being the most obvious, for he could not die, as that would only mean Amelia would also die right alongside of him… literally. The other reason I didn’t give in to this mad impulse was that I knew Amelia took precedence over everything else, and in that moment, she was fucking terrified! So, I had slammed the door and made it so that he could no longer reach her.

I swear feeling her there in my arms for that first moment since losing her, well, I thought my heart would pound right out of my fucking chest! It was as if the cracks surrounding my soul had healed and everything in me centred as peace had swept over me.

I was whole again.

Therefore, in that moment, I had wanted to share something with her, something that I had never shared with anyone. A piece of history I thought long ago buried, and one I dug back out just for her. Her reaction had been better than I’d ever hoped for, as I could feel the love pouring from her and how grateful she was that I'd shared it. In the end, having her there experiencing it with me for the first time, had been what felt like the true gift, the one she had given to me, not the other way around.

A moment in time I would never forget, and one only the two of us shared in our minds. It was the reason I had vowed to her that one day I would make it real, and I added to this vow a promise I made myself. That I would turn this moment into a reality once I had finally made her my wife. After I had made her the Queen she already was in my heart.

Now, if anyone had told me I would have come from that romantic moment after making love to her in a field of flowers, to being in a mattress shop… then yeah, considering Amelia was involved, I probably would have believed them.

Of course, I had no fucking clue what a mattress shop looked like.
